Recovery's going well

Hello,

Hope everyone is getting some good skiing in this winter it's been pretty decent this year up in Scotland which is encouraging for the youngsters.

My knees are coming along really well and I am well ahead of my estimated time scale for recovery and should be easily on track to start skiing again in March with a good level of fitness. In the last week I have progressed hugely and have start jumping and changing direction which my knees have been totally fine with, the only thing I feel is the left one is a little unstable with the ligament not fully healed yet so I need to stay aware of that. The staff at the Olympic medical centre have been great, helping me get the right balance of pushing myself but being sensible with it. My plan is to spend another week there when we will really up the intensity more to a training programme level with only one physio session each day as oppose to the 2 I have been doing which will give me more time to get into biking and lifting weights more.

Also next week down in London I will be heading to the Dorchester hotel on tuesday night for the Snowsportgb charity ball which should be a good event.

I'll keep the blog updated with my progress towards full fitness and post some pics next week.

Seeya
