Raced slalom in Zagreb today, the weather took a turn for the worse in the previous days so the snow was really soft and wet however the course worker did an excellent job in making the piste raceable. After the 1st run I was lying in 2nd place only 0.15 sec behind after making a substantial mistake on the lower section, so I was confident going into the 2nd run but I knew it was going to be a bumpy ride. As expected the course got pretty chopped up but I battled my way down with quite a big mistake and even better recovery on the flat to take another victory by only 0.11 sec, this was a good step forward for me as the field was stronger than in the previous races.
I have another slalom here tomorrow and its going to be raining so I hope all those years training in Scotland will stand me in good stead!!! After the race I will make my way to Austria picking my mum up on the way as she is coming out to watch a couple of races....... and take my trophies home!!!
