16th Monte Pora Europa Cup

Decent result yesterday in Monte Pora Italy. They had to cancel the GS the day before because of too much fog and it was snowing alot however as always we raced in SL whatever the weather!! Over the 2 days there was close to 1 meter of new wet snow which made for a rough bumpy ride in the SL, I had start number 24 and skied into 15th place on the 1st run which was respectable, this is a tough postion for the second run in these conditions though because you need to make up time on the leaders but wont have the advantage of a smooth piste like the early numbers. I fought my way down the 2nd run and ended up 16th. I will take that after the tough season to date but my goals are definitely to be getting into the top 10 in Europa cups with my improved start number. Taking a couple of days off now which seems to good timing as it is snowing/raining everywhere at the moment. Gonna do some speed and combined races over the next couple of weeks so looking forward to letting my skis go straight for a while.
