Zinal to Oslo

Trip to Zinal was ok, figured out how to ski decent GS again which was a bit of a suprise, new boots have done the trick I reckon. Went out in the Slalom which was disapointing but was going well before I went out so all good practise for the more important races to come.

I left Zinal on Friday straight after the race and was making my way to Zurich when the start of my bad luck hit, the gear box went on our team van and I had to get across 3 lanes of busy traffic to the hard shoulder OOF!!!! Scarey!!! So we were stuck there for about 4 hours and I didnt get into Zurich till pretty late. The next morning I managed to miss my flight by a matter of seconds after waiting a full hour in the boarding pass queue, passport control queue then the security queue....... they really have a shit system at Zurich airport!!! So I had to by a new flight to London City and get to Gatwick a fast as possible to catch my original connecting flight...... stressfull and expensive!!!!!

I made it and I'm having a relaxing day checking out the sights of Oslo today, I've been here before but it was always dark..... pretty sweet place actually, kinda what you would expect, good shops, cool buildings, Hot Chicks!!!

Heading to Trysil now for some training before the opening European cup GS and SL's.
