A decent start to the European Cup Slalom tour today, first run I skied from bib no 30 into 13th with a run which was solid but not my best, unfortunately I fell backwards on the second run to finish 21st. Seems to be a good reflection of how things have been in training lately alot of time I am fast but I have these occasional moments of slackness where I look like a different skier and thats what happened on the second run today.
Marc Gini won the race today which was great for the Swiss team, yesterday the race was cancelled because the Swiss coaches had a horrific crash leaving the hotel, 2 coaches were seriously injured today one is in a coma and the other has serious internal bleeding. All the best to them it was definitely the right descision to cancel the race yesterday.
Heading to Oslo tonight to catch a flight down to Munich. Then have a few days off before training in Austria to get ready for Val D'Isere World Cup on the 12th.
Heard its dumping snow back home, AWESOME news I really hope we get another top season there make Aviemore such an amazing place to be when its like that!!!
