Got 2nd today in a FIS race in the build up to my next World cup in Zagreb on the 6th January. 1st run I skied quite well but I felt I took it a bit easy in the section where I fell yesterday, which perhaps cost me the lead on the first run. I was really ripping in the race yesterday but crashed 4 gates from the finish, so wanted to put that right today. Sitting 2nd after the 1st run only 0.18 behind I felt confident I could win so really attacked the 2nd course, however I didnt really find a rythym in the gates, was fighting to find the right line and getting pushed out of position alot. In the end I have to be happy with the scoring 11.06 FIS points which will hopefully improve my ranking by about 20 places. Staying here in Petzen for 1 more day of training on the water injected slope with the Slovenian team tomorrow which will be perfect preparation for Zagreb on Thursday........ The Austrians are coming here too so it must be good :)
